Break Hours- January 2026

The Main RWC facility will operate on break hours from January 5 - January 10: Monday - Sunday, from 11am - 6pm.

Regular hours will commence on Sunday, January 11th.

RWC @ Downtown


RWC @ Downtown is a 7,800 sq. ft. facility located at the  UCF Downtown campus which opened in August of 2019. The facility is on the second floor of the UnionWest building and serves both UCF Students and Valencia College Students.

As part of the integrative student well-being focus of the campus, the RWC @ Downtown includes both RWC and Wellness and Health Promotions (WHPS) services and is located next to Student Health Services (SHS) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Facility features:

  • WHPS office with services including stress management, nutrition
    education, wellness coaching and sexual wellness
  • Group Exercise
  • Free Fitness Assessments
  • Personal Training
  • Functional fitness area complete with Escape Training Rig, plyometric equipment, power racks, benches, and free weights
  • A full circuit of selectorized weight machines and strength equipment
  • State-of-the-art cardio equipment
  • Private showers

Programs include:

  • Group Exercise Classes: Group Exercise classes are free and include Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, Zumba, and many other aerobic and resistance classes. Check the UCF Downtown Calendar of Events for more information. Sign-up is not required. 
  • Personal Training: Schedule one-on-one sessions with a certified personal trainer to create an individualized fitness program just for you. Sessions are 60 minutes long and the initial consultation is FREE.
  • Outdoor Adventure: Enjoy outdoor trips leaving from the downtown campus to state and regional locations as well as multiple outdoor fitness activities in and around downtown Orlando throughout the semester. To view upcoming adventure trips for the downtown campus, click here. 

Member Information:

  • All currently enrolled UCF students who pay the Activity & Service Fee as part of their tuition
  • Valencia College students enrolled in 3 credit hours of classes downtown and with a valid student ID
  • FAMU Law students with a valid student ID
  • UCF faculty, and staff, and Valencia College faculty and staff teaching and working at the downtown campus can purchase all categories of special RWC @ Downtown membership

The Recreation and Wellness Center offers different memberships that range in price and accessibility. In addition to memberships, daily passes are $5 and available for purchase. The memberships and guest passes can be purchased during business hours at the Member Services desk.
