Graduate Assistant |Marketing and Community Relations 407-823-2408 joseph.johnson2@ucf.edu Joseph, a Chicago native, has cultivated a strong foundation in sports and community engagement through diverse professional experiences. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Individual Design from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he also played college basketball. Joseph began his career at MIT Recreation, where he developed his skills in wellness promotion and recreational program management. He further expanded his expertise by working with the Boston Celtics, focusing on youth development and gameday operations. Currently, Joseph is pursuing his Master’s degree in the DeVos Sports Business Management program at UCF while serving as the Graduate Assistant in Marketing and Community Relations at the downtown Recreation Center. Additionally, he contributes to sports operations and community initiatives with the Orlando Magic. In both roles, Joseph leads outreach efforts, promotes wellness programs, and strengthens engagement between organizations and the community. In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing basketball, mentoring young athletes, and creating inspiring content. His diverse experiences and passion for community engagement position him to make a lasting impact in the sports and recreation industry. < Back
